Vibration Analysis for Condition Based Maintenance – CBM<br><br>There are many different maintenance management strategies that can be applied in industrial environments. One key strategy is Condition Based Maintenance (CBM). The Thai German Institute is now planning to introduce a training program in Condition Based Maintenance for the first time. <br><br>In modern high-productivity industrial plants, equipment breakdowns are no longer acceptable. In order to prevent unnecessary machine down-time, predictive maintenance techniques must be applied. Condition Based Maintenance provides the tools for a predictive approach. <br><br>There are a number of fundamentally different techniques that can be used in CBM. In the first phase, TGI will offer training courses based on Vibration Analysis.<br><br>Vibration Analysis allows maintenance teams to monitor the current condition of their machinery while it is in use, to monitor emerging faults and to schedule repairs before the equipment fails. TGI will offer three levels of training.<br><br>1. Fundamentals of Vibration Analysis. This course will introduce students to the nature of vibration; how it is created and how it can be measured. <br><br>2. Intermediate Vibration Analysis. In this course students will learn to apply vibration analysis to fault diagnosis by understanding the different causes of vibration in rotating equipment. <br><br>3. Advanced Vibration Analysis. This course will introduce students to the corrective measures that can be taken to avoid machine breakdowns and to optimize the performance of their plant, based on the analysis techniques learned in the earlier courses.<br><br>Other Approaches to CBM<br><br>At a later date, TGI will offer courses in other CBM techniques, including thermography and oil analysis.<br><br>Thermography allows the condition of working machinery to be analysed by monitoring local temperature fluctuations using infra-red scanning. <br><br>Oil analysis is based on examination of the suspended particulates, wear debris and chemical compounds which are deposited in the oil. By accurate sampling and proper analysis of the lubricants, predictions can be made about wear rates and likely sources of equipment failure. <br> |

การวิเคราะห์ spectrum ค่าความสั่น เป็นเทคนิคที่มีมานานแล้วเพียงแต่ว่าราคาเครื่องที่วัดค่าความสั่นมีราคาสูงมากโรงงานที่เงินมากๆ ก็อาจมีใช้ และการวิเคราะห์ก็ต้องใช้ความชำนาญสูงด้วยเหมือนกันเพราะเท่าที่มีประสบการณ์ การแปลความจากข้อมูลที่ให้มา ยังไม่สามารถชี้ลงไปได้ในทันที ต้องอาศัยข้อมูลและประสบการณ์ผู้วิเคราะห์ อย่างสูง ส่วน การวิเคราะห์คุณภาพน้ำมันหล่อลื่น มักให้บริษัทที่จำหน่ายสารหล่อลื่น เป็นผู้วิเคราะห์ค่าและผลให้ ส่วนThermography เป็นเทคนิคที่ดูง่ายที่สุด เพราะดูอุณหภูมิเป็นหลัก แต่ราคาเครื่องสูงมากๆ |

I agree with Mr.Kirin, However, many rotating equipment's applications really concern to Vibration Analysis in order to diagnose the root couse of the machine failures such as unbalance, misalignmet, and looseness. Although vibration spectrum analyzer seems to be expensive, at the present the maintenance stategy is adapted. Oursourcing the service is taken place. when you need the expertise, you can ask from the servicers. You can get the result without investing in equipment and taking time to train your own people.<br> |
